Editing E Books

I have posted a query before but I did not get a satisfactory answer. I have paid for my membership but I cannot find anywhere that shows anything about editing the ebooks before posting them to my site. Can anyone tell me what program is best to use for editing or if there is a Youtube demo or some information to help newbies.

If the ebooks you download are PLR, and do not have a source doc… you can convert them to either Powerpoint, or any editor you prefer such as MS Word etc, by going to this link
https://www.online-convert.com/If it is MRR or anything less, you generally can not edit the ebook etc.

I know there are some other paid options out there such as Designrr and Sqribble where you can edit and design ebooks and covers. Have you ever used these or any other programs for ebooks?

I have tried Canva, but am not fond of it. I have not tried the others.
I almost bought Affinity Designer a couple years ago, when it was still only 30 bucks, but realised that it was not going to work in my older pc at the time.I have a new Lenovo now (altho windows 10 was something I avoided for years, and now that the new pc unavoidably has it, go figure, they are trying to push 11 on us…. they haven’t even fixed the bugs in 7 thru 10 yet….)
Anyway, I had to buy the newer version of PhotoshopE, and ended up getting the subscription for the Powerpoint (I wish I had just bought the year old version outright in the aftermath) but MS has not changed it’s ways, and is extremely intrusive all the time. Yesterday was a new experience, as it changed my PDF files to Chrome html files suddenly, after I had uploaded one PDF to the convert site I linked above, the next file was a freakin html file as well as every entire pdf in my pc.
Hoped it would change today after it rebooted, but same. So internet search fixed it, and of course points the finger at the same dirty culprit that has been changing and locking our files randomly for years, and also changes your search default and browser when your are not looking LMAO!!!@
So what the hell does this have to do with your question….. absolutely nothing HAHA, except Powerpoint is still what I use, and I do like the ease of it (just not the intrusions, which I never had when I owned the disc) so therefore, next June I will hopefully be buying the full out software to load.
BTW, I have been thinking about Affinity again this last week, might still try it now that I have the right specs.

The PDF to Chrome files happened to me as well and started a few days ago! But for some reason, only on ONE of my laptops. On the laptop in question, it corrected itself, but then changed back again to Chrome icons later. I can still open the file by right clicking and using open with Adobe. What did you do to change this and why did it happen? I thought it was only me and my laptop got buggy. It must be many others.

RyanIt is not your laptop as I have a brand new Lenovo only a few months old. It is bloody Microsoft and always has been. They are intrusive and crap.

https://www.thetechminute.com/set-adobe-reader-default-pdf-viewer-windows-10/Trust me, it’s a Microsoft thing, and a windows 10 thing, which is one of the reasons I had avoided upgrading the old machine for so long.
BTW, if you use external drives, don’t be surprised if you find encripted locks on them at some point, especially if you buy a new machine, and plug in an old drive from the previous machine. MS loves to lock your files. Upon buying my new machine, I have already discovered at least 50 gigs of files locked and lost, and I have another over 1 tb to look through still. So aggravating.
